Our mission is to support those who dare to step forward and transform their world
Our Beliefs
- Everything is interconnected, either directly or indirectly.
- Some connections are tangible, while others are intangible. *It's easy to overlook the intangibles, especially when running an organisation.
- All these interconnections are continually shifting and changing.
- Grasping this reveals why complex systems behave the way they do.
- No single perspective is sufficient to solve complex problem.
- Harnessing collective intelligence allows you to get a better picture of the problem and possible solutions.
- Increasing trust and transparency improves the accuracy of information.
- Cookie cutter approaches to transformation don't work because local conditions, history, embedded norms and systems makes your organisation unique.
- Transformation efforts must be built around your context
- If you have the trust and transparency to really tap into the collective knowledge and wisdom of your organisation, you will create the conditions to make better decisions , make breakthroughs, and perform at your potential.

Declan Brady
Co-executive DirectorClinical Psychotherapist
Executive Depth Coach
Declan has over thirty years' experience as a senior leader in organisations. Declan started his career in software engineering in investment banking in the U.K. He ran major IT Projects in financial services, pioneering the application of the then-emerging lean and agile work-practices, ensuring his teams were able to respond with speed to the changing organisational demands.
Over the last 15 years he has transitioned from working in organisations to consulting and coaching others to lead. As he matured professionally Declan came to understand that the intangible aspects of individuals mindsets, behaviours and collective cultures equally determine business outcomes and organisational success and sustainability. As a result of this insight, he undertook and completed a post-graduate qualification in Gestalt Psychotherapy. This experiential learning generated a period of profound shift in his approach to helping organisations transform themselves. Declan believes no transformation is possible without a combination of inner and outer work.
As well as his organisational work, Declan has a private psychotherapy practice in Sydney, assisting individuals, couples and groups with existential issues, and with a specialisation in working with trauma. Declan is also an educator and supervisor of psychotherapists at 'The Relational Institute Australia'.
Declan co-founded the Centre for Applied Transformation to synthesise these two worlds of high-tech and depth-psychology, and to bring these specialised services to organisations and individuals that need to transform themselves to businesses that are agile, sustainable and people empowered or to individuals who have the capability to support or lead transformational work in various contexts. Declan is a good and capable guide and partner for this complex and sometimes messy journey

TIM WINTON
Leadership Decision-makingEcological Design
Creator of PatternDynamics™
Tim spent the early part of his working life planting trees in the wilderness and leading the development of an experimental sustainability education community.
His central passion is learning from natural systems and applying those insights to creating a better world.
He believes we are in the middle of a planetary-scale transition; that the linear and hierarchical, mechanistic worldview that underpins industrial growth is breaking down. The machine model is too simple for resolving the complex problems it has created. Tim believes managing the complexity challenge requires a shift to a living systems operating model–one that mimics nature’s ability to self-organise for more adaptive, innovative, and collaborative problem-solving.
From his observations of the natural world, organisational life, and engagement with the complexity sciences, Tim created PatternDynamics, a systems thinking framework designed for purpose-driven collaboration. He shares it to support the development of self-organisation skills for individuals and groups.
Tim is a serial social entrepreneur working at the intersection of commerce, sustainability, and social change. Roles include forester, permaculture designer, organic farmer, sustainability educator, leadership coach, organisational consultant, executive, trustee, and board member. Award-winning independent scholar.
Areas of expertise include restoration forestry, ecological design, leadership decision-making, strategy, integral theory and practice, self-organisation, systems thinking training, and complex problem-solving.
